The exhibition showcased latest pharma manufacturing technologies for Bangladesh and South Asia where more than 612 exhibiting companies from 29 countries attended
9th Asia Pharma Expo 2017 and Asia Lab Expo 2017, an international exhibition on complete pharmaceutical manufacturing technologies was recently held in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Tofail Ahmed, Minister of Commerce, Govt of Peoples’ Republic of Bangladesh, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Zahid Maleque, Minister of State, Health & Family Welfare, Govt of Republic of Bangladesh; Major General Mustafizur Rahman, Directorate General of Drug Admnistration of Bangladesh; Salman F Rahman, Vice Chairman – Baximco Group of Companies; Dr Momenul Haq, MD, General Pharmaceuticals – both Advisor to Bangladesh Association of Pharmaceutical Industries – BAPI (Bangladesh Aushad Shilpa Samity); Harunur Rashid – Sr Vice President of BAPI & CMD of Globe Pharmaceuticals, SM Shafiuzzaman, Secretary General – BAPI, Abdul Muktadir, MD, Incepta Pharmaceuticals.
The exhibition focussed on pharma, neutraceuticals, cosmetics and biotech manufacturing segments of the industry.
Exhibiting companies from India, Korea, China, Taiwan, Bangladesh, Singapore, Middle East, European Union, the US exhibited exhaustive wide range of latest pharma manufacturing technologies which include – pharma processing and packaging machineries and materials; analytical / QA – QC / biotech laboratories instruments, glass-wares, consumables, reagents; API / bulk active / pharma ingredients and raw materials; cleanroom and water management equipment and services; projects and turn-key consultants; trade publications, etc.
The exhibition was supported by Indian Pharma Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (IPMMA).
