The website will promote clinical pharmacy education in India
Indian American Pharmacist, a non-profit organisation, with its main objective to promote the optimal medication use that improves health, wellness, and quality of life, has launched a new website to promote clinical pharmacy education in India.
The objective of the website will be to exchange innovative ideas among pharmacists and collaborate with other healthcare providers to establish progressive health systems, promote the optimisation of drug therapy for the people our members serve, anticipate future information and professional development needs for clinical pharmacy practice, strengthen relationships among pharmacy students, pharmacy practitioners and other health professionals.
The website will also provide innovative clinical pharmacy practice initiatives, provide support and services to pharmacy students, pharmacists recognition and awards, professional networking opportunities, support of pharmacy practice-based research, provide leadership opportunities, educate patients and healthcare professionals on the value of pharmacy services, educate the general public on relevant issues of importance, facilitate the sharing of information and practice activities.
It will also host forums for discussion of vital issues, promote the role of clinical pharmacist practitioners, encourage development of a pharmacist provider network.
