The drugs will be manufactured in Ahmedabad
Cadila Healthcare has received approval from the US health regulator US FDA to market anti-viral generic Acyclovir capsules in the US market. The drug will be produced at the company’s formulations manufacturing facility at SEZ, Ahmedabad, it added.
The Ahmedabad-based Zydus Group has now 100 approvals from the US FDA. It has so far filed over 280 Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDAs) with the US drug regulator since the commencement of the filing process in FY 2003-04.
