Maharashtra governor honours Cadila Pharma’s Raj Prakash Vyas with ‘Award of Excellence’

Maharashtra governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari has honoured Raj Prakash Vyas, President, Corporate Affairs, Cadila Pharma, with the ‘Award of Excellence’ for his lifetime contribution to the pharma industry, a company statement notified.

The award recognises Vyas’s exemplary contribution to the industry for the last 28 years by creating new business development and diversification strategies through corporate affairs and helping generate livelihood opportunities, the statement said.

“I am humbled to be receiving the ‘Award of Excellence for Lifetime Contribution to Industry.’ It is an overwhelming feeling to be recognised with this prestigious honour before such an august gathering of industry stalwarts and leaders. I express my sincere gratitude to all, including my colleagues at Cadila Pharma, who supported, encouraged and inspired to dream more, act more and deliver more in this professional journey,” he said in the statement.

Before joining Cadila Pharma, Vyas served in Chambal Fertilisers, Adani Enterprises and Jindal Group in his professional journey of close to three decades. The awards were presented by Uttar Bhartiya Mahasangh and Sahitya Ganga, Mumbai, to recognise and award Indian stalwarts for their contribution to the nation’s growth, stated the statement.

Vyas has pursued several programmes in management, strategy and international business from reputed Indian and international institutions, including Harvard Business School. He is also an alumnus of Rajasthan Agricultural University from where he completed his Master’s degree, the statement concluded.
