Pfizer’s production at Goa plant takes a hit

Conciliation between the workers’ union and the management is on over a charter of demands

According to a report in PTI, Pfizer’s production at its Goa facility has been affected although the conciliation between the workers’ union and the management is going on over a charter of demands submitted by the former.

“There is temporary impact on production, for which the company is putting in place contingency measures,” the company said.

The conciliation process between the workers’ union and the management is being heard at the State Labour Commissioner’s office, Pfizer told.

“The management hopes to resolve the matter expeditiously,” it added.
