AAiPS appoints Dr Ramaswamy Lakshmanan as AAiPS India Ambassador
Dr Lakshmanan is currently serving as the Managing Director of Sotax India since October 2010, a subsidiary of Sotax AG, Switzerland
The American Association of Indian Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAiPS) has appointed Dr Ramaswamy Lakshmanan as the AAiPS India Ambassador.
Dr Lakshmanan is a pharma professional with nearly 45 years of experience. He is currently serving as the Managing Director of Sotax India since October 2010, a subsidiary of Sotax AG, Switzerland.
He has many achievements to his credit. To name a few:
He has been instrumental in founding the Society for Pharmaceutical Dissolution Science (SPDS) and currently holds the position of Secretary General in SPDS.
He was appointed as the Head-Pharma at United States India Import Council (USIIC) in recognition of his 45 years of contribution to the pharma industry in India.
He was also recognised with the Creative Legend Award by SPDS for outstanding contributions to the pharma industry, presented by the Drugs Controller General of India in July 2023.
The committee feels that Dr Lakshmanan’s extensive experience and expertise position him as an ideal candidate to represent AAiPS in India and his ambassadorship will bring valuable insights and initiatives, further advancing AAiPS’s mission in the region.
