Akums Drugs ties up with Microcore Research to manufacture NESM supplements for healthy joints

Akums Drugs and Pharma has entered into a joint venture with Microcore Research, which is the only manufacturer of Natural Eggshell Membrane (NESM) that has innovative and granted patent technology with unique mechanism that does not employ any chemicals and solvent for the purification of the natural eggshell membrane product ranges. This technology is guarded by patent, and is protected with trademark and copyright, and complies with the regulatory compliance as well, according to a statement from Akums.

With this tie-up, Akums will leverage NESM and develop dietary supplements for maintaining healthy joint and connective tissues. This move is another assent to Akums’s innovative approach to work since they identified a gap in the supplements market and bridged it through this collaboration, the statement said.

It also informed that NESM is a novel dietary supplement that contains naturally occurring glycosaminoglycans and proteins essential for maintaining healthy joint and connective tissues. Its natural composition can be used as a natural source of collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid, chondroitin sulphate and other key biomolecules.
