Acuvate launches hardware and software inventory management system for pharmaceutical plant

Acuvate, Hyderabad-based software consulting, solutions and services company is providing innovative and cost effective software services to a pharmaceutical company.  Through Acuvate’s Asset Inventory Management Server, a record number of almost 500 plus computers are managed and administered for the pharma firm simultaneously from a centralised location. The inventory management server helps the organisation to work effectively and efficiently and has therefore increased the productivity at all levels.

The tool has a dual benefit for the pharma firm by managing both hardware and software inventory. Its noteworthy features include understanding the type of software installed, the amount of memory the system contains, number of licenses, etc.

In addition, it deploys the operating system to all employees by remotely using Network Boot (PXE). Plus there is the added assistance of software and product updates getting remotely installed in all the systems at one go. Remote access to client systems and much more are just some of the industry specific features to the pharma sector.
