As the global dietary supplements market burgeons, poised to escalate from USD 148.8 billion in 2021 to an estimated USD 283 billion by 2030 (growing at a CAGR of 7.4 per cent from 2022 to 2030, according to Skyquest Technology), India emerges as a critical player in this dynamic field. The country is at the forefront of a significant transformation, aiming to cultivate a $100 billion nutraceutical ecosystem by 2047, a goal set by the Nutraceutical Task Force of India, chaired by the Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India. This growth trajectory is in tandem with India’s broader ambition to evolve into a $30 trillion economy.
Amidst this expansive backdrop, the Indian dietary supplement industry has garnered international focus, notably with Vitafoods entering the Indian market and the establishment of the global Nutrify C Suite Sumflex in Mumbai. The burgeoning industry necessitates a unified approach towards international harmonisation of HSN codes and global inter-regulatory policies, facilitating responsible nutrition practices and enabling global market access, thereby fostering industry-wide growth.
The Nutrify C Suite Sumflex, renowned for assembling a diverse array of international leaders from the nutraceutical supply chain—including top innovators, Pharma and Nutra industry CEOs, emerging startups, medical experts, and governmental and regulatory authorities—echoes the collaborative spirit of the World Economic Forum. This initiative is transforming Mumbai into the nutraceutical world’s Davos, signifying a new era of global industry convergence.
The 2023 summit, hosted at Mumbai’s iconic Taj Mahal Palace, marked a milestone, drawing 380 eminent figures from 40 nations, setting the stage for an even more expansive 2024 edition. The upcoming event will spotlight the United States, South Korea, India, and Malaysia, emphasizing strategic partnerships and deal-making.
In its commitment to fostering responsible nutrition, Express Pharma announces a media partnership with Nutrify Today C Suite Sumflex 2024. Additionally, Express Pharma will collaborate with Nutrify Today for the inaugural Nutraceuticals Innovators Live bidding event, akin to the Shark Tank format, termed the Nutrify C Suite Sumflex – Innovation Battlefield.
Scheduled for June 6, 2024, this event will feature over 100 innovators, with the top 10 finalists engaging in a live equity-for-investment bidding, streamed exclusively through the Boardroom series channel on the Express Pharma and Nutrify C Suite websites.
