Generic Aadhaar has opened 29 franchises in 29 different districts across India in a single day. Generic Aadhaar stores were inaugurated in both metro and remote cities like Chennai, Guntur, Thiruvarur, Ahmedabad, East Delhi, Navi Mumbai, Mahabubnagar, Gaya, Thane, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Bardhman, West Tripura, etc, a company statement notified.
Generic Aadhaar’s franchise model provides business opportunities to start a new business, and supports the existing small local pharmacies facing stiff competition from global names in pharmaceuticals. In 29 stores launched, 11 stores are owned by women, the statement further noted.
Commenting on the inauguration, Arjun Deshpande, Founder and CEO, Generic Aadhaar, said in the statement, “…..We are making high-quality medicines available to 130 crore people of India, but that is not our only goal. Generic Aadhaar’s vision is to create a revolution in the pharma industry and also in the lives of common people by giving them self-sustaining employment opportunities for financial independence……”
Further, according to the statement, Generic Aadhaar provides high-quality medicine at up to 80 per cent off from manufacturers to end-users directly.
