Gerresheimer Pharmaceutical Packaging Mumbai and Stelmi India jointly held a technical conference on primary packaging for improved drug safety. Gerresheimer is an internationally leading manufacturer of specialty products made of glass and plastic for the pharma and healthcare industry. International speakers and experts from Gerresheimer business units namely tubular, moulded and plastic packaging, discussed the various current topics and innovative solutions for the industry.
Vikas Acharya, Director India, Gerresheimer, welcomed the delegates and it was followed by very informative lectures by industry experts.
Heinz Klostermann, Vice President, Sales Pharma, Gerresheimer Moulded Glass GmbH, spoke on the topic ‘moulded glass features and benefits’. Lecture on ‘multishell vials’ by Wolgang Dirk, Product Manager, Plastic Parenteral Vials, Gerresheimer GlasGmbH, was appreciated by the audience.
Audience showed deep interest in the lecture delivered by Claudia Petersen, Director, Business Development, Gerresheimer Bünde GmbH. She spoke on the topic ‘delamination and product impacts’. Claudia received many questions from the audience which she answered to their satisfaction. Lectures by Hector Garcia, Sales Director, Gerresheimer Querétaro S.A., on the topic ‘ETF Vials–ready-to-use glass vials’, was also the highlight of the conference. Hasse Hjartved, Senior Sales Manager, Gerresheimer VaerloeseA/S, talked about ‘Gerresheimer Plastic Packaging -primary plastic packaging solutions for solids, ophthalmic and liquids.’ Closing remarks were given by Yatin Wagle, Stelmi India.
