With the administration of 61,27,277 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has surpassed the 100 crore mark to reach 100.59 crore (1,00,59,04,580), as per provisional reports till 7 am today. This has been achieved through 99,59,884 sessions.
A total of 1,03,77821 healthcare workers (FLWs) have receieved the first dose, while 91,18,567 have received the second dose. Similarly, 1,83,68,689 frontline workers have receieved the first dose and 1,56,36,899 have received the second dose.
Besides, 40,22,21,442 people belonging to the age group of 18-44 years have got the first dose and 11,99,53,006 have got the second dose. Furthermore, 17,06,81,028 people aged between 45-59 years have received the first dose of the vaccine, while 8,90,38,061 have got the second dose. That apart, 10,74,03,593 people aged above 60 years have been administered the first dose and 6,27,71,243 have got the second dose of the vaccine.
