Bilcare also receives the 2014 CII Grand Award for ‘Most Innovative Company’
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has conferred the CII Industrial Innovation Award 2014 on Bilcare’s nonClonableID Technology as well as the overall CII Industrial Innovation Grand Award on Bilcare as the ‘Most Innovative Company’ for the year 2014 at the inaugural session of the most coveted and largest knowledge exposition, ‘Knowledge Expo 2014’ held recently at India Expo Center, Greater Noida.
“These two most prized recognitions from CII reinforces the immense value of the nonClonableID technology which possibly is the first disruptive technology that India would give to the world as well as the exemplary commitment of Bilcare towards its innovation pathway leading to its getting judged as the ‘Most Innovative Indian Company,’ said Dr Praful Naik, Chief Scientific Officer, Bilcare, while receiving these prestigious honours.
The conferring of CII Industrial Innovations Awards and the Grand Award 2014 comes after several months of rigorous assessment and comprehensive audit steered by an eminent team of jury members comprising top scientific minds and thought leaders from India and outside with diverse experience and expertise, which included eminent scientists from ISRO, IISc, TIFAC and Directors & Professors of IIT’s, IIM’s, Cornel, MIT, Washington University, Imperial College London, London Business School.
Out of a select 81 applicants, 25 were selected as finalists and six were conferred with the category awards in which Bilcare’s nonClonableID technology bagged the manufacturing sector – Large Enterprise category award and finally from amongst the six category award winners, Bilcare was selected as the most innovative company for the year 2014 across all sectors and conferred with the Grand Award.
