Concept titled ‘Involve to evolve’ provided students with career guidance, encouragement during the academic programme and advice on important courses
HK College of Pharmacy at a recently held programme in Jogeshwari near Mumbai launched a concept titled ‘Involve to evolve’. The concept provided practical guidance to students by experienced alumni from various pharma sectors who also acted as mentors.
The concept provided an opportunity to the students to talk and visit with professionals who were once their peers. Students were able to receive career guidance, encouragement during the academic programme and advice on important courses. A website blog was also created for smooth communication between the alumni and students.
The programme started with the alumni speaking about their experiences in various sectors of pharma industry. Discussions were held across various diverse career options both in India and abroad such as sales, marketing, insurance, drug safety, pharmacovigilance, disaster management, MBA, retail pharmacy and entrepreneurship.
Dr Anubha Khale, Principal, HK College of Pharmacy, thanked the audience.
