Leica Microsystems, a leading designer and producer of microscopes and high-tech precision optical systems, will host a pre-registration event on July 1, 2014 at the MicroScience Microscopy Congress 2014 (June 30, 2014 to July 3 2014, Manchester, UK) to unveil the first LifeSight report into current and future trends in life science research.
This inaugural report, sponsored by Leica Microsystems, is the first in a series of annual surveys focused on the life science research sector. Through a comprehensive and worldwide survey of over a thousand different lab managers and department heads, the report will explore a variety of topics. These include technological development, funding and current collaborations, which will give readers a comprehensive overview of the challenges and opportunities affecting them in their current and future work.
During the launch event, key speakers will take part in an open panel discussion, providing further insight and conclusions on the topics covered. This will include futurist Dr Patrick Dixon, who will focus on the future trends and challenges tomorrow’s life science researchers will be facing.
