Indian-origin scientist elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC)

Indian-origin scientist Dr Shashi Ravi Suman Rudrangi, Senior Manager of Drug Product Development and Commercialisation (Technical Head) at Kent-Athlone Pharma Group, United Kingdom and Ireland has been named a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC).
The Royal Society of Chemistry is the oldest chemical society in the world and celebrated its 175th anniversary in 2016.
The distinction of Fellow recognises members of the Royal Society of Chemistry who have been in a senior position for more than five years and have demonstrated a significant impact to the advancement of chemical sciences, both as a field of knowledge and profession. Fellows of the Royal Society of Chemistry hold positions of influence in our community and have invaluable experience, expertise, and commitment to promoting the value of Chemical science.
36-year-old Dr Rudrangi pursued his bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Kakatiya University, Warangal in 2008 before pursuing his master’s and doctoral studies in Pharmaceutical Science at the University of Greenwich, UK in 2010 and 2015, respectively. He was recently awarded the ‘Chartered Scientist’ status by the Science Council and Royal Society of Chemistry in June 2018.
Dr Rudrangi has been serving on the committee of the Formulation Science and Technology interest group of the Royal Society of Chemistry since 2019.
