NIPER-SMPIC to hold seminar on ‘Formulation development of Oral Solid Dosage Forms’

NIPER- SMPIC (Small and Medium Pharmaceutical Industry Centre) will organise a one-day seminar on ‘Formulation Development of Oral Solid Dosage Forms’. The event to be held at National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER) (Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers), SAS Nagar, Punjab, on September 13, will be organised in response to the suggestions provided by small and medium scale companies where more than 50 participants primarily from pharmaceutical companies are expected to attend.

The seminar will focus on the complete quality cycle of oral solid dosage forms like tablets and capsules. Discussions will be held on systematic formulation development protocols, approaches to enhance dissolution rate, advances in granulation technology and process validation of solid oral dosage forms.

Eminent speakers from the industry and academia shall be delivering lectures on these topics emphasising the need for enhancing the scientific basis of performance of these dosage forms to enable achievement of quality products.
