‘Overall this was a positive budget’

The budget has drawn some broad strokes on the canvas showing the Government’s intent in the coming years. The budget has given additional funds to middle class and the senior citizens, provided assurances to manage the fiscal deficit and has shown the intention of the government to create opportunities for new investments. Overall this was a positive budget considering the fact that this government has been in power for about a month only.
