Partnership for TB Care and Control in India invites application for TB Champion AWARD

The Partnership for TB Care and Control has announced an annual award for TB Champions in India to recognise and honour the achievements of individuals as well as organisations committed to working on critical issues around TB in India.

A cash prize of Rs 50,000 will be awarded to the winner of TB Champion Award (Individual) of the year in recognition of their significant contributions in combating TB. Similarly, a cash prize of Rs 50,000 for the winning organisation is supported by Global Health Strategies. The prize will be awarded annually to institutions or organisations that have made a significant contribution to the fight against TB in India.

Applications and nominations is open to selection of any Indian citizen working for TB Care and Control in India. All applications and nominations will be screened and reviewed by the selection committee. The winner of The Partnership Award for TB Champion will be announced at the 4th National Consultative Meeting of the Partnership in January 2013 at New Delhi. The last date for receiving applications/ nominations is November 30, 2012.
