Pockaj has a degree in business administration and business engineering
Zeljko Pockaj has been appointed as the Managing Director of Romaco Innojet. He was appointed by the Romaco Group’s Board of Management and advisory board. The Romaco Group is a portfolio company of Deutsche Beteiligungs.
“Zeljko Pockaj is a proven industry expert with international management experience that will stand him in good stead as Romaco Innojet’s new Managing Director. We are confident that Pockaj will push ahead systematically and in a targeted fashion with Romaco Innojet’s ongoing strategic development and make a lasting contribution to the company’s success,” explained Paulo Alexandre, Chief Executive Officer, Romaco Group.
Pockaj gained a degree in business administration and business engineering and spent many years working for Roche Vitamine and Roche Pharma, where he held various executive positions in national and international sales as well as in commercial functions. At DSM Nutritional Products, he was in charge of mergers and acquisitions amongst other things. Prior to joining Romaco Innojet, he was the Vice President Food and Beverage Ingredients at DKSH Holding in Switzerland, where he also oversaw Asian business.
Pockaj emphasised, “As new Managing Director of Romaco Innojet and successor to Dr hc Herbert Hüttlin, I’m stepping into big shoes and I’m very conscious of the special responsibility I bear. Following Innojet Herbert Hüttlin’s successful incorporation into the Romaco Group and its integration in the new group structure, the main focus will be on developing and leveraging the potential for innovative air flow bed technology in specific industries. That will lay the foundation for our technology leadership in the global pharma, food and chemical sectors.”
